Pomodoro Timer
Work in 25-minute sessions separated by real breaks. Phases follow on automatically and your settings are remembered between visits.
0 session(s) completed — long break every 4 sessions
The Pomodoro method in practice
The Pomodoro technique splits work into short, focused sessions separated by genuine breaks. The principle is simple: one task at a time for 25 minutes, then 5 minutes of rest, with a longer break every four sessions.
This timer chains the phases automatically so you never have to think about it. Durations can be changed if the 25/5 rhythm does not suit you: some people prefer 50/10 for deep work, or 15/3 when energy is low.
How to use it
- Start the focus session and work on a single task until the bell rings.
- Actually take the break you are offered: it is what makes the next session effective.
- Adjust the durations and the number of sessions before a long break in the settings if needed.

Yes, durations, the interval and the number of completed sessions are stored locally in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server and no account is needed.
Yes. On first start, the browser asks for permission to show notifications. If you allow it, a message appears at each phase change alongside the sound alert.
That is the original duration of the method: long enough to get into a task, short enough to stay sustainable and to restart easily after an interruption. Nothing stops you from adapting it.
