Edit a countdown

WatchIsUp does not require sign-up. Editing is done via a secure link provided at creation.

How do I edit a countdown I created?

At creation, a unique edit link is shown. Keep it: it contains a token (editToken) that serves as the access key.

What if I lost the edit link?

For security reasons, the link cannot be recovered. If you lost it, the countdown remains visible but can no longer be edited. You can create a new one.

What can I edit?

Title, description, target date, timezone, category, template, colors, background image, visual effect.

Does the edit link expire?

As long as the countdown exists, the link remains valid. When deleted, the token becomes unusable.

Can multiple people edit the same countdown?

Yes, as long as they share the edit link. Anyone with the link can edit or delete the counter.
