A timer pupils understand without reading
In class, a countdown made of digits forces every pupil to read, convert and estimate. A bar that empties or a light that changes colour is understood instantly, including by the youngest children and by pupils who still struggle to decode text.
Traffic light mode uses a cue everyone already knows: green to work, amber to wrap up, red to stop. Silent mode keeps the visual cue without the bell, which helps during written work or an assessment.
How to use it
- Pick a duration from the presets, from 30 seconds to 20 minutes, or enter your own.
- Choose bar mode or traffic light mode, whichever speaks best to your class.
- Switch to fullscreen and project on the board. Mute the sound if the class is working in silence.
