Embed a countdown on your website

Every WatchIsUp countdown can be embedded for free via an iframe on any website, blog, or platform that accepts HTML.

How do I get the embed code?

On the countdown page, click the Share button, then the Embed tab. Copy the iframe code and paste it into your page.

What is the embed URL?

The URL follows the format https://www.watchisup.com/{category}/{slug}/embed. Use this URL in the src attribute of an iframe.

What dimensions should I use?

Recommended width: 100% of the parent container. Height: minimum 400px on desktop, 300px on mobile. The embed is responsive and adapts automatically.

Does the embed keep the colors and background image?

Yes. The theme, colors, background image, and visual effect chosen at creation are preserved.

Is the counter truly live on the visitor's side?

Yes. The countdown runs client-side from the stored target date and timezone. No server update is needed.

Can I customize the counter after embedding?

No — the embed reflects the current state of the counter. To edit it, use the edit link received at creation (see our help on editing a countdown).
