How it works
Step 1
Set up your timer in the widget page tool: deadline and style, in box format.
Step 2
Create it, then copy the embed link shown under the code (it ends in /embed).
Step 3
In Notion, type /embed, paste the link and confirm.
Does Notion have a countdown?
Not as a timer. In a database, a formula such as dateBetween(prop("Date"), now(), "days") shows the days left as a number. For a countdown that visibly runs, paste an embed link into an Embed block — and it has to be the address ending in /embed: the countdown page’s regular link only gives a link card.
